Kendall Schell serves as Principal at AK Strategies, a full-service government relations firm based in Nashville, TN. She specializes in legislative strategy, advocacy, and political relationship management, representing clients across a wide range of industries before the Tennessee General Assembly and state government.

Before joining AK Strategies, Kendall worked with Vogel Group, a nationally recognized lobbying firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. There, she played an integral role in coordinating the launch of the firm’s Tennessee office while managing client relationships and serving as a liaison between Vogel’s offices nationwide. Kendall also led legislative and advocacy efforts on behalf of clients, navigating Tennessee’s political landscape and building strong bipartisan relationships to advance strategic policy objectives.

Prior to her work in government relations, Kendall built extensive experience in political fundraising and campaign operations throughout Tennessee. She served as Deputy Finance Director for several prominent state and federal campaigns, including those of Governor Bill Haslam (R-TN), Governor Bill Lee (R-TN), U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN), U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN), and U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN).

In addition, Kendall has supported numerous political and civic organizations in fundraising and event leadership capacities, including various local elected officials, ROCKCITY PAC, TENNPAC, the Tennessee State Museum Foundation, Tennessee Trucking Association, the Haslam Legislative Fund, Governor Haslam Inaugural Committee and Governor Lee Inaugural Committee.

A native of Gallatin, TN, Kendall earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Auburn University. Alongside her work, Kendall enjoys working with two very important charities CASA Nashville and Mother to Mother. She currently lives in Nashville with her husband and two sons.
